Pregnant woman murdered at in-laws house, husband and in-laws flee

A 25-year-old pregnant woman, Sabera Khatun, was found brutally murdered at her in-laws' residence in the Madarchak area of Arambagh. According to police reports, Sabera was four months pregnant at the time of her death. She had been living with her parents in Arambagh for the past few days. On Tuesday, her husband, Sheikh Masud, who works in another state, returned home and took her back to their house in Madarchak.

The next morning, on Wednesday, Sabera’s family learned that she had been murdered at her in-laws' house. Neighbors informed the family about the incident, and they immediately went to the house, where they found Sabera’s lifeless body, with visible signs of violence. Local police were alerted and arrived at the scene shortly afterward. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, but the exact cause of death is still pending.

Sabera's husband and other members of her in-laws’ family had fled the scene by the time the police arrived. According to police sources, efforts are underway to locate the accused, and a manhunt has been launched. No arrests have been made yet, and the police are trying to trace the whereabouts of the suspects.

Sabera was married to Sheikh Masud a few years ago. He had been living away due to his work, and the couple had no reported issues prior to the incident.
